Wat Phra Dhammakaya arranged the 99th Ceremony of Offering Alms to 323 Temples within 9 years to dedicate merit to the dead in four unrest Southern provinces and the Ceremony of Giving Fund to help teachers in these provinces
It started on May 23rd, 2015 through the chanting of the Buddha’s Mantra and Tijeevaravippavasa led by Most Venerable Phraprommethi, the committee member and spokesperson of the Supreme Sangha Council, and the monastic assembly in order to purify the temple and the land.
On 31 March 2024, the Thai community in Sydney gathered for an almsgiving ceremony led by Venerable Phrakhrusamu Sanitwong, promoting Buddhism and community unity. The event included a sermon and a meditation course for local attendees.
